In celebration of Thanksgiving, I would like to share with you my favorite pumpkin pie recipe. This was made every year by my mother. I treasure her handwritten recipe. It is stained from age and use.

Though my mom died many years ago, I feel as though she is with me today as I prepare this for our Thanksgiving feast. As it bakes, the aroma of cinnamon and ginger reminds me of the upcoming holidays and I take joy in sharing this simple recipe with you...
