Sorry, Rick..I hadn't checked my Pbase in a long time! By now you've passed your return date for the Canon. What did you decide?

Beautifully crisp detail Sandy! I just received the Canon 18-200mm EFS IS lens as a wonderful birthday gift but had been looking at the Tamron 18-270 PZD(the newest model) and still have time to return the Canon and would if the Tamron is up to the task as I like the increased range and it's also a bit less money than the Canon.Any thoughts?
