thanks so much for putting these on view -- going on a trip with your eyes. i'm looking at the ways in which it's a different trip than the one i took: there are several small structures i never saw, serveral homes i missed, an entirely private cat...
there's a gentleness in the way you avoided focusing on the "natives," whether maryam or our every so photogenic guide (the two or so you have of him are marvelous, but then, he was the most marvelous-looking man. i'm amazed at your restraint on that count. or perhaps it's not people and their faces that get your fascination.)
there's an almost white photo with a cloud of dust. that's my favorite for some interior, metaphoric purpose. but i'll be looking at them all again (and again), selecting and arranging them mentally as though they were my own, enlarging my trip with yours.
