These are a few shots taken at random this past Sept ('09) when my wife and I visited Monhegan Island just off the Mid-coast area of Maine. We have been here a number of times over the years, but this is the first with a DSLR. Prior cameras have been film and I have yet to process my slides to digital. Enjoy this rustic island with me and if it spurns any emotions please comment.

I have a cousin that lives in Maine and loves to paint on Monhegan. She was there the week prior to us being there.
She left a couple of brush strokes to let me know that she was there.
