I WAS IN SANGER 3 BEHIND HIS GREEN HOUSE IN 1984 WHEN I WAS IN 1 PWO,HE WALKED VERY SLOWLY WITH A STOOP .THIS PICTURE LOOKS TO ME THAT IT WAS TAKEN IN THE EARLY SEVENTIES IF IT IS HIM.I WAS IN BROOKE/WAVELL BARRACKS ACROSS THE ROAD FROM 1983 TO 1985.

Hey Bob, Keith Despenas here. I was also on that guard shift. I was in the mortar platoon...CSC5/502. What platoon were you in?

I guarded Spandau the night Hess died, I was on the Sangar above his garden shed where he hung himself from 12 midnight until 2 am, it was the creepiest guard I ever did. I was in the KOSB. There was supposed to be an attack of neo nazis that night so were live ammoed up but no one turned up. Nice to be involved in a little bit of history though.

Great capture ... taken from a tower? Interesting the history of this prison and the tripartite guarding of it. Were you a part of that cadre???
