My brother Rog has just sent me a text with this web-site telling me to look at a certain picture. What a huge surprise when I found it was a class picture of myself and friends.I recognise 10 people at the moment. It was sacrilege when it all disappeared along with my beloved Westminster which turns out didn't need to be demolished at all!

Does anyone know the STANTON family who lived in VICTORIA STREET in the 1960s but originated from BLUE TOWN.Any information or phorographs regarding the family especially from the 1900s would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you for the very interesting montage. I worked in the Docks in connection with the banana boat arrivals in the late sixties and early seventies. Jamaica Producers & Fyffes used to call regularly. Around that time the LASH barge business was also being developed and the steelworks quite new.
I used to stay at the draughty Royal Fountain (is it still there I wonder) in Blue Town. I am giving a talk to a local marine group at the endo of the month and am currently seeking any pictures of the docks at Sheerness and, in particular, the banana boats. I wonder if you have any in your library you would permit me to use ?

Not sure what "St. Trinians." or "Terry Thomas" has to do with these? Is there some link to Blue Town? Great stuff Al. You're starting to catch up with my Sheerness gallery.

I recall an old comedy from the fifties called "St. Trinians." I cannot recall if Terry Thomas was in that one. These photos are quite fascinating.
