it won't focus either in manual or auto focus. :-((

Oh I don't like the sound of that, condensation perhaps ? I remember somone here dropped their camera into water but it dried out & was fine following. I believe I have a photo of this same Dietes somewhere among my shots too, Sheila. It's a nice one isn't it.

Maybe it has dirt on the lens? Or, got water drop inside when you took picture the other day. But I hope your camera will get back to normal function.
