Wreath flower

view map

Leschenaultia Macrantha.

On Friday, we drove over 1100 kilometers to look at some of the famous Western Australian (12,000 species, with more still being discovered) wildflowers.
This is a close up of the fabled Wreath flower which grows exactly in the shape of a wreath.

What an interesting flower/shrub and a beautiful close up capture as well as the WA one. It really does look like a wreath.
