Mount Warning

In January, my husband and I visited friends on the Queensland-New South Wales border. Mt Warning is a great climb for those who don't mind a strenuous walk. Australia is not just beaches and deserts. We have many rainforests such as this one.

Mt Warning has to be the most beautiful place in this country. I fell in love with that mountain 52yrs ago and when ever I see it get homesick. The breathtaking sunfises and sunsets and the mist over that mountain is spectacular. The next time Im in the area I will do the climb once again

Mt Warning is the JEWEL of Australia when we visit my wifes family every year in Murwillumbah its like a magnet to us , cant get enough photos of it .

Hi, there is something special about Mt Warning and the surrounding Tweed Valley. I lived the first 16 years of my life here and it still causes me to feel just a bit homesick when I see the mountains peak which was central to most of my views in that time. Thanks for the photos

I used to live at the base of Mount Warning. It is a beautiful place & I miss it very much, I'm living in England now though. Thank you for bringing happy memories flooding back.

These pictures are amazing! I just climbed mnt warning this morning (did the 3.30am walk in darkness to get up there for the sun to rise). Absolutely loved it; breathtaking trees. I especially like your image of the 'reclining tree!' We found that and couldn't resist having a rest on it.

I grew up on the Tweed but for many years have lived thousands of miles away. Looking at your photos, I could smell the bush again and recall the childhood climbs up Mt Warning. Thank you. God bless.

Hi Sheila, Your D60 still makes great shots, I find it hard to tell the difference between your d60 And your 5D, it appears that sharpness is in the lense, the rest is just noise comparisons,and colour bleeding to me. Whats your aponion. Robert.

my dad, cousins, borthers, sisters and me climbed to the top of mount. warning when i had a brocken arm and i climbed to the top. your website is so COOL!!

My Dad and I climbed Mt Warning at the end of March whilst I was over from England, I have tried everywhere to find pictures that reflect the beauty that I both saw and felt... and here I have found them!! Great pictures!!
