Sheila--this is really lovely! Actually--I find myself really admiring most of the work you've got on this site--and I plan on adding you to my favorite artist list. :-) I especially admire your portraits--as that's what I prefer doing...although my work is less spontaneous, and more about creating an illusion... Anyway--thanks for sharing! It's great to be able to learn from other photographer's work!!! :-)
Thank you. Teddie was watching a brushtail possum climbing back into the palm tree as it had fallen out! Possums are nocturnal and it had inadvertently dropped out of the tree. Teddie had not seen one before (as we keep both our cats in at night) so was fascinated with this native marsupial.

This one's a real beauty. Blurred background and clear eye. It looks as if the Cat is unaware of anything around it and concentrating on something that has caught its attention.
