Another day of over 40 degree C temps. This thermometer on our deck (in the shade) only goes to 50 degrees. One wonders what will happen if it reaches the ultimate. The birds have gone silent. None on our deck, which is the usual spot for them, cadging food. Not a sound outside - other than a dog howling behind us. Poor thing has been left outside. I cannot bring her in because our two cats have not left our air conditioned house all day. Bushfires are raging, thankfully not near us and all those who do not believe in climate change, spend a day in Sydney this week.
