I love this drink - it's been my favourite non-alcoholic drink since I was a little girl.
I remember going shopping with my mum and as a treat we would call at this shop which sold home-made Vimto lollies!
We never had the drink at home - probably couldn't afford it - had to stick to duck's wine!
Strange what you remember from your past.

Not sure if I've ever had it for some strange reason. And I've never heard of duck's wine - I must live a sheltered life.....

Ooh I used to love this when I was a kid. They used to sell it in a Temperance Bar (!) it was cordial and you had it with hot water added, in winter. It is made in Western Australia now, but hasn't the same flavour.
