As well as having a love of cameras I used to have a love of fountain pens.
Still do I suppose but I never use them - Manage with a bic biro for notes etc at work!
This is the last expensive pen I bought - probably about 6-8 years ago
A Waterman - and it was well used until I started typing all letters!
Don't think I've got the lighting quite right - the reflections are a bit distracting.

I like this one. I'm have a love of pens and nice thick paper but like you I rarely use my fountain pens anymore. Lovely.

Time for a light tent? Metallics are always hard to get right, I suppose the more you do . . .

Know what you mean, can be very difficult, wish I knew how certain people manage it!! All the same, it's sharp and nicely composed.
