The cushions that match our curtains in the lounge were looking decidedly jaded - the inners had gone flat and they needed freshening up!
So, today, I removed the inners and put the covers in the washing machine, even though it said 'dry-clean'. They washed perfectly well.
Went to Wilkinsons to buy some new inners at £1.50 each (that 10 minute walk away shopping centre does come in handy)
Stuffed the new inners into the now dry covers but, unfortunately, the zips broke on three of them so...
spent a leisurely 15 minutes or so sewing them up.
Voila! New cushions.
