Yosemite has been an inspirational photographic attraction through her changes of season from the summer to the winter. As it may seem that she never looks the same by the ever changing touches of nature.

The landscape is magnificent and timeless through the ages for generations to come and enjoy.

There was no fresh snow in the mid of January as we were fortunate to have a break in the weather. Scattered snow might be a predicament of another dry year in the Sierra, thus low water supply in the downstream valleys. The weather on the valley floor remained in the low 30F's in the sunlight, at higher locations the air added some light windchill factor to the elements. My toes and fingers were resisting the freezing cold, almost frozen after long exposure to the weather elements while toiling with the camera setup to capture the images. We ran after the changing light in the cold weather which was yet compelling in the pursuit of the perfect photographic opportunity.
