"Today the Guns are silent, the great Tragedy has ended.
The great history has won.
The skies no longer rain dead—The Seas bear only bear Commerce---
Men everywhere walk upright in the sunlight.
The entire world is quietly at Peace."
Gen Douglas MacArthur
