We concluded the year 2009 with an image from our trip recorded on the north side of Grand Canyon Rim.

As the sun was dropping on the horizon, we decided not to go further on the Fuller Canyon road which was parallel to the Grand Canyon to the east of the Canyon Lodge. On this ledge of the road, the sun was dwindling as we were on top of a vertical drop behind the Grand Canyon. The scenery was painted with the previous fire along the top canyon rim, and left devastating remnants of environmental destruction. After recording the last image the light was barely vanished, we headed back to the main road. We encountered buffaloes, deer and wild life encroaching the main road Hwy 67; we were extremely careful not to crash our vehicle into them.
