Put an anchor line along the bottom of the vase so it doesn't look like it's floating;
carried the shadow (on the right) all the way in next to the edge of the vase, per Val's suggestion.

Changed the corner to a horizontal line for the vase, per Hillary's suggestion.
I used oil brushes, blender brushes and the burn and dodge tools on this second take (Painter X).

I had a hard time with the shadow on the side of the vase, I couldn't get the shadow to look as nice as the
one you did Hillary. BTW, Hillary, I really like how you nab our images and show us by example, very helpful :-)
