Come back for a second look. It's a unique moment in time caught with such vision.

Lovely photo yet again Kal. I doubt I will ever get tired of seeing your work in this format, it is very special. I feel like I'm watching a dream here. The lack of eye contact and the still body language create a surreal state and strange mood that is unlike anything 'real'.

Silently banging the bell without an eye blink! There is a tremendous power that comes out of their concentration, out of the blur of the legs that levitates them, and out of the stone in the back, heavy but as a tool that they could manipulate.

Top notch work.

Moving shot but for me somehow a sad one. Clever work with the facing down and blur.

Just plain bloody good again, Kal. (Aussie expression of praise). ;-) I agree with Ken about the young lass. And, yes, for some of us souls, the more high tech we are getting, the more low tech we wish we were. Contemplative, organic, image making. A light tight box, one good lens, and some solid thought. Cartier-Bresson said about photography ..."it is putting one's head, one's eye, and one's heart on the same axis'. ~V~

Hi Buddy, Im intruiged by the path you have taken..I think it is wonderful the way you are exploring the 'old ways'. Im so bloody fed up with pbase and the dopey systems that I think I might take a complete break from it....but not image making! Do you remember 'David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes' video..one of the all time greats...well, I dont know why but there are elements here in this image that resonate....I think it comes from..you daughter ???..the way she is facing away...looking down..and the sureal quality...perfect title.

It looks as if the world is spinning around them - very appropriate for childhood dreaming. Is this the tilt/shift again?
