The Bents, Leefdal 2008

One Polaroid in a 5 minute period between snow and sleet. Photography as chance by design. I could not have dreamt of the interaction here...I love this format, because it is like a partner who has an opinion ;-)K

brilliant seizure of the moment..i cant work out the dof on these images as the settings seem the same on this camera and 150 lens 5.6 but i am very film naive:-)

What wonderful expressions. They look like a very nice family - close, friendly and full of joy.

I agree with your words, here, Kal. I see what JD says. Digital is a 'follower' and polaroid - especially when in LF - is a 'leader'. :-) Great shot. You could wait another year for the young one's "I'm freezing, get it over with" look! ~V~

Beautifully done. :) V

I wish to see some in type 79 and 59 too Kal.

Love that squeeze-me-toothpaste-hug-smile. Lovely casual moment. Priceless :)

I would argue that the digital has also an opinion, but that is indeed somewhat more shallow. The difference has to lie in the time lag: no doubt that digital gives an opinion to quickly, and the Polaroids seconds gives it time for second thought - in depth thoughts should I say ;-).
