The selective blur - the selective focus maybe - is very unexpected with this camera. This makes something very unique!

Another portrait I like a lot in this gallery. I like the intense look too, he seems detatched and his mind has wandered far away from the present. I kind of feel like I'm looking at a film star in the Clive Owen mould here!

A very intriguing portrait --- so deceptive in its casual elegance, the subject almost melts into its environment. But his eyes --- they are, as Weston describes Modotti, taking her picture at the end of their affair, heavy with the gloom of unspent rain clouds. Is there a sadness more heartbreaking?

Bravo, Kal!!!

I think one of my favorite things about these photographs is the way they blur off. He's very intense.
