Excellent portrait.

Wow - I feel really 'wrongfooted' when I look at it due to the sudden shifts in focus. It's as if a memory is slowly being pieced together, becoming clearer.

Sometimes
We ask
For things we cannot know
For a sign
Where no direction is possible
For a truth
Where clarity is absent.

Innocence and vulnerability - especially since she appears so tiny against the world at large. She is not looking at you which makes me feel she is waiting paitiently for something to happen. I always feel as if I'm looking into the past with these.

It is interesting how the camera looks to be ... as large as the bridge. Again, a strange focus, that makes me feel that this is the image that the princess see in an enchanted well!

Stunning portrait, Kal, full of soft & crisp focus, drawing us ever further into his world.

A bridge symbolizes a passage, a transition from one place in life to another. As a child, the person who looks into this camera with back to the bridge does not realize the inevitable passages that await. But we do. Thanks for making us think and feel this with you, Kal.
