You do this so well, Kal, combining solitude with an edge of melancholy. Other photographers might want to capture the moment the solitude is relieved by interaction. Your stress on the intense aloneness make your images almost painful to absorb.

Outstanding work! I think this really captures the feeling of being at an airport alone. So many people everywhere, but somehow it seems more isolated than a desert.

A kind of isolation, just her and the world (the earth), not her and the rest of the world (the people)
Another Khogalian foray into the underside of travel. So much time is spent sitting in a void, going nowhere fast.
The empty seats seem to push this woman towards that edge you mention, but she is oblivious to their energy.
Eventually she will leave this spot, and someone else will take her place. And so it goes.
