The lonely life of the constant traveler, his companions are his reflection in the glass and his shadow on the wall - the ghost of a connection in the shadow behind him. What a great image, Kal.

Even if there is a second shadow, the solitude of this man, trapped in the city is what I feel.

great composition, symbolized many things about a traveller

I think Ray has really nailed so much of how this image relates to me. Like so many of your captures Kal...we at first are drawn to the obvious..only to find it has become superficial as other..deeper elements emerge. This what I love about your work.

You catch both mood and meaning in this image, Kal. A traveler has his own crosses to bear -- loneliness, disengagement, dependency, tedium, anxiety, emptiness. All of them are symbolized here -- even a cross.

Solitude, but not solitude...excellent observation!

It is so amazing how you use clear spaces to convey isolation, alienation and dread. But what is more uncanny is how, in this image, the clear space is so claustrophobic. Truly brilliant, Kal. Bravo!!!
