Glowball Enlightenment, Xitang 2006

"I am not able, or interested, in setting scenes. To me photography is a matter of discovering already existing yet unseen visual meanings" ....Sometimes they come after the fact, a kind of Glowball Enlightenment......and luck?...yes I guess I'm lucky. I should never forget that. K (Thankyou Adal for (some of) the wise words)

Afternote: I almost deleted this image. It sat on my hard drive for over six months. It only gained meaning after seeing Adal's image. The meaning goes beyond the image at the time of the shutter release...today it gained greater meaning. It became part of a conversation.

Canon EOS 20D
1/100s f/2.8 at 24.0mm iso1600 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

The best dialogue is when it is at odds...afterall, if it isn't, you may as well just listen to yourself ;-) We should maybe have another of these converstaions soon ;-)K

mmm... I think "challenge" is the wrong word...
It has been a "dialogue" in my opinion ;-))

Moral of the story:
If we make a photo, there must be a reason. Even if we don't know which it is, at the moment.
So, the strong advice is: "Never delete an image you have made".
I agree, because it's my philosophy as well.
Shooting and selecting are two separate but equally creative moments for me.
There is creativity in shooting, there is creativity in browsing my own hardisk, months later.

No, you are not right alem.
"Great minds don't think", that's the truth.

As Adal would say: "great minds think alike"
Am I right ?
