This is indeed an incredible composition. The contrast of light and focus is wonderful too.

Great shot saying all of the below

Brilliant shot. I like what Phil said about the photo but also how the man is looking away from the bike. It is almost to say man over machine

Flesh and steel.Stand and fall among each other.A marriage in inequity,of necessity,of tempered endurance. And if the mind could chose legs or wheel again from conception, knowing all that unfolded. How then would we move in different circles.Would we trade our skin for plastic.Forsake our nerves for siliconed electricity? Or would our human touch still be as tender as mothered earth, before we had forgotten how to cry ?

Supreme Image! Absolutely brilliant Kal!

Once again, Phil said it all :-) And I like the fact that they're facing opposite direction. Like they're from different times and on different paths, taking different perspective and purpose of their world. Awesome.

Superb in every way.

Superb incongruity, Kal -- you juxtapose symbols of age and youth, dark and light, mobility and immobility. Yet look at the wonderful echoes here -- the legs of the man and his chair echo the stand of the motorbike, while its handlebars and mirrors echo the elbows of the man. Both man and bike are completely inert. One is left to wonder if that bike is his. Or if he is just its current guardian. ("Watch your bike, Mister.? Only 25 yuan.")

This is rather marvellous Kal. You've isolated these two great characters side by side, like two old friends remembering more mobile times while watching the world pass .
