I can't look at this one and not imagine how cool it will be to wake him up... Eheheheheheheheh... I know... :o)

Yes, like Phil said. My first reaction is if he is really sleeping under the cover of the sunglasses.

I never dare to photograph a policeman fearing I would get into troubles because they are representing authority and power.. And here, you are questioning and mocking of all that (the rest people in the photo seem laughing about it too). The policeman looks even more frightening with the reflections on his face..

Awesome. Like a still out of a classic 1970's Hong Kong police/crime film.

He could be sleeping, or he also could be setting a trap by faking it. I love the ambiguity of it -- is he or isn't he?

uhm... ambigous....

Love the addition of the two well awake passers-by...

Great catch of his "skiving" moment, just when the "suspect" arrived and was about to walk by him :-) Talking about perfect timing!

Or... policemen sleep too... there's a suprise :)

Nestled between the onion skins of moments. As wrinkled unread parchments.Of separations among a bittersweet wholeness.Slippery, delicate and easily bruised. As one would press emotive juice from a reflection.

Another suggested story…another way to bring into focus a detail of reality that we would have missed, walking by too quickly, too superficially…
I like the choice of perspective and the reflections on the car window, which separate the mysterious universe of sleep from the daily task of a policeman.
We have a spontaneous sympathy for the subject; he’s captured in a total human dimension.
Another excellent photo, Khal!
