Glad to find your fascination in ancient art'shop. Incredible scenery, the mirror works like a window and the wide perspective increases the fabulous "mise en scène". Great photo, Kal.

A simple means of earning and living. All one needs at times is a clean cut or shave, removing all hair of troubles ;-) And he looked so at ease, kind of made me anticipate for a customer soon so that I could see him in action!

Ah, you also found your wide angle lens back. I need one too if I see this.

Really interesting photo - I think it's interesting that the barber sits on such a crappy little chair!

I never find the good words to comment your images. They're so good, so interesting.
Very far from my usual world, I learn something in every image you post, not only from a sociological point of view, but also because you have a very special point of view, you capture emotions, situations that make me "feel" a lot about this world (that make me feel closer... we're all human beings... oh, sorry for all that blablabla ;-)).

Excellent Kal, a real atmosphere, the reflection great.

You captured his disposition quite well. Simple room with four walls, a door, a mirror and two chairs. Daylight from the door, no window. All you need to be a good barber is a good pair or scissors, no? I like the hair on the floor. It completes the image perfectly.
(Note: From the thumbnail, I thought the barber chair was a toilet - talk about incongruity!))

Isn't beautiful?
Just being himself...
There's a mirror behind him....
Would like to see what it's he looking at.
