We can almost feel the effort of the man pushing his bike... I like the detail of the face almost completly hidden by the hat. The face has a name, but like this it can be anyone or everyone..
Another great capture

This one is great. Like Natisunber, I like a lot how the figure is led by light. Love the hidden face.

Beautifuly draw by light... I agree with AL about the hidden face (and also about what you writte on her Single n°2 on the symbolic power of anonymous...). His mouth, his hand, all his attitude speaks about effort... a powerful shot.

I couldn't make an image like this work. It strikes me how you can do it.

If you are making a reference to the American monster of a motorbike (Steed Musclebike, over thirty grand without frills) then the irony is unusually nuanced and exquisitely precise.

It is man who is the beast of burden here, Kal. The steed may be always willing to perform, but the man must supply the energy to make it go, and it might be just too much for us today. Your stress on the fiercely lighted hat and the firm grip, with only a touch of the grim face showing, give the image its expressive power. He appears to be melting before us. Once again, you show us that less can usually be more.

Awesome image, Kal.

Maybe it's the unrelenting heat wave we're experiencing in So. Cal., but like Al, I see the heat and exertion involved in moving this 'steed' forward. (Quite remarkable Kal, considering your use of b&w, to express that concept so effectively.)

Excellent dof with a similar subject "resting" in the backdrop. It reminded me of how a hidden face directed our attention to his arm and hand, his effort on pushing the "metal horse" under the hot sun, when he's supposed to be the easy rider. I could only imagine each move forward and upward is draining off his already ageing physical strength. Brilliant.

very "cavaleresque"....
