Oui, très émouvante... You have the secret of this kind of shot. Bravo, Kal.

Unusual processing if it comes from you, but you know I like this an awful lot.

c'est une photo d'une force rare, si belle, si émouvante... I agree with the others : a great punch which now resides in all of us!

Yes relativity is the key word. Person to person, mind to mind, physically, emotionally, mentally. Up to how you compare, interpret and handle it. You've nailed it again, Kal. Brilliant.

Kal, it is refreshing to see someone handicapped or disabled photographed this way. No, not refreshing to see someone like this, however refreshing that you confront it and don’t mess about with the issue.

Very well done.

We usualy tend to photograph disabled people in a sympathetic way. However, in this image, you make a point about bitterness -- this man is sad and tired and makes no bones about it. You photograph him straight on, and confront us with his predicament. A part of him now resides in all of us.

Terrific portrait Kal - deeply expressive. His posture with one hand gripping and the other hanging implies hes just holding on. His feet give the impression hes edging forward while the people behind walk away with such ease.v
