Landscapes are not what I do :) This is a funny comment, but well don't you worry about that Kal because it's obvious for us that you were shoting the Yaks in your studio ;) You have some pretty backgrounds there to choose from....

Fantastic how you managed to get depth in your image through carefully composing it. Voted.

Lovely B&W work Kal. It's like I am there.

My eyes were led from the Yak confronting us to another Yak right behind him, and then to the layers of the mountains. I find this picture peaceful and quite balanced. Yes, nature is balanced until we walk in...

Not exactly a landscape... but really interesting!

You boldly depart from scenic cliche here with two decisions -- using black and white instead of color, and filling the foreground with lots of Yak. The one on the right seem about to turn on us and lunge through the edge of the frame, placing its sharp horn in our midst. This is not a landscape, Kal -- the vista is incidental. Instead of pristine vistas, you give us a potential confrontation. (You also ask us to wonder about your own well-being!)

Wonderful shot!

Me neither on the landscapes. Excellent Yaks.

I find the repetition of patterns very interesting, the yaks' hide mirrors the mountains, the dark skin pointing like an arrow into the horizon, the fur looking like snowdrift --- very well composed, very apt title.

Great pov and composition. Works perfectly in b&w. I'm upset because I saw this *same* scene yesterday while walking around in downtown Los Angeles! :)
