I particularly like the contrast between the cheerful dance and the almost emotionless face. It makes me wonder if he's really dancing, or if he just kicked a ball or something. That's what makes it a good image for me.

Thankyou all for your comments. Phil and Duncan, you both noticed the arms and the trees, which was a key to this picture (the idea of being at one with nature). I was trying to mimick the tree at top right. Needless to say it took a while!

One more observation: the trees add movement as well, and in doing so, they replicate the thrusts of his hands.

What elevates this image from just another exercise shot is your brilliant execution. His foot is perfectly placed on a zig zag line that energetically propels us back into space, along with the fence that runs alongside of it. His expression is tranquil and confident. The world around him seems to be in motion, yet he remains perfectly still and balanced.

It's all about balancing...!
great image Kal.

Very cool. Excellent slice of life candid. The motion blur, for me, make a good image even better.

Interesting image. His movements or pose seem to mimic the trees and the lines on the path. They do to me anyway.

Well done.

I love the movement, especially because there is a sharp part, the face of the man.
