The only problem is that you knew he was slowly cooking potatoes here, but we did not, at least until you told us. So the contrast in working pace you try to express does not come off without this verbal context.
He's a traditional street seller of what I believe are cooked sweet potatoes. In the background a bicycles goes by. It about a leasurly pace and the simple traditional way of doing things, hence "The Other Way" compared to the image it is linked to, where the contradictions of two worlds, fast paced and slow, are emphasised. I was trying to show how chosing the moment you release the shutter can make a difference to the message. I chose B&W here to emphasise the traditional and nostalgic feel compared to the colour of the modern world in the other image.
