Oh you are tough Ana! But I also like that you look for the detail. This is an old image, and I did not post it for exactly the reason you describe. If I had the end of the crutch (and his feet) in the image, it would have been like a symbolic peg in the ground, the metaphoric moment in time...of well, I still like it, but the execution could have been better. Thank you for being honest about what you see, that is important to me ;-)
Hummm... Looking for the past?? I think you've composed the photo in such way that we are indeed led to believe that the man is lost in such thoughts and I think that the fact that we can see all that light coming in from the right, really works in that way.
It's a great capture! Nothing else to say execept that if I wanted to be picky I would say that you've cut a bit of his feet ;) but since I am not in that way, I won't say it ;)
