Sorry to be late...I like this picture and I feel touched by the reference.
Anyway I have to say what I perceive. The pictures itself is excellent and I like the perspective and the crop, but I don't see in that what other people seem to notice, that is I don't see any amusement and any link to a possible childhood, unless the fact that the elderly man on the wheel chair is depending on the younger one, as a child on his pram is depending on the person who pushes it.
The old man is worried, he grasps at his chair arms, because he feels insecure.
I don't see any amusement at all in this scene.
I don't think the young man is playing or joking, I think he has to lift the chair maybe to push it better over a small obstacle and I perceive also a complicity, as if he was trying to reassure the old man " I won't make you fall down, don't worry, it's all fine, I take good care of you".
This is what I perceive.

OK, I understand your meaning Kal.
Journalistic point of view
We have to do this sort of pic, not to much, but we have...
Bravo

You know me Alem, even if it was I would think it was valid...complicity...now you have me thinking, I am going to let Marisa decide....I must admit the concept of collusion in this intrigue is quite amusing...Marisa?

I see apprehension due to the manoeuvre.... but I also see complicity...
Anyway, please, don't take this as criticism.

Thanks Alem, I named the title after reading the of an image from Marisa (since both images involve old men and wisdom as you say, so you were spot on). I actually see fear/apprehension in him, but he is forgiving his son, but I can also see the childhood title would work, it will be really interesting to hear what others think. I actually did not hang around to see how this situation continued, since this was literally taken on the way home as I walked out of town in the opposite direction. I do know one thing, if I am ever that old, I hope my son will be more gentle ;-)

this is a wonderful picture. however, I have a little problem with the title. For me there is some sort of amusement. More than "age forgives everything" - which implies a sort of wisdom that we can reach trough the years and makes us to accept bizzarre things (even a guy playing with our chair) - I would more see something like "chilhood" since the old guy is sort of playing like a child.

Hope I was clear. But it is a fantastic picture in any case, no matter the title.

regards
