Make your choice.Play your game.Does it matter who is watching? Are you keeping tally? Or going through the motions of redundant habit? Do the rules make you strike within bounds? Cornered within limited options.Your aim is focussed with nerve from necessity. To win by the rules.Against the night.

In your book please!

Wonderful work here Kal! The sharpness of the photo this time plays an important role in the understanding of the ambience of the scene, because we can see beyond the pool table, to the people in the back... even in that left right corner there are expectant eyes watching us, watching the game.
Great photo.

A truly masterful slice of life image, Kal. It is good to see you produce an image where detail can play such a prominent role. You put all of us at that table, Kal. The camera is a player, waiting his turn and wondering how this player, who is wisely abstracted, will do. The body language of the spectators adds important context, as does the sharply defined textures and details of the room itself. You make us all present, Kal, and that is the key to telling a story.
