Somthing a little underhand! What a lovely idea Robbie, I had not thought of that. The real intention here is abstraction. We are meant to be left wondering what is going on, and that fact that it has made you think of something underhand has really pleased me. It means that this image is expressive. Somtimes what we end up with is not 100% intentional. In this case it was not my intention to have the actual transaction behind that blurry glass section, it was just the way it was. The expression is not always in the detail. For example, for me, a key to this image is the mirror positions of the hands, the fact that they are disconnected from bodies (they could be any of us), and that it takes place through a barrier, yet they make human contact. Thanks for the comment Robbie.
Hello Kal another well spotted shot . All three have lots of interest and are thought provoking. This is good ! its a shame the actual hands are less in focus because of the 2 layers of glass. Perhaps that was the idea ? something a little underhand ?
My eyes keep going to the hole via the window frame.
Nice one Kal
An sound abstract concept, Kal. I like the incongruity of the hand having to enter a door to pay. However there is a lot of clutter in this image that pulls the eye away from the transaction. See how you can improve by cropping. It has saved some of your images in the past.
