The Great Escape

For human kind survival can only come from fraternity. In this environment, these men still have time to laugh and play. Joy in life is always inside us, if we ever care to look there

Our window yawned with a bland stare until the pocket of blackbirds fluttered upon the sill of our view.Rolling their heads, clicking beak grins and shuffling their flurry of animated feathers. In an amusing jostle that only friends understand. With a contagious party laughter breaking waves of smiles across the onlookers.

Good here...

Nice compositional flow, an arc of interaction....

This photograph has many different layers to it which makes it a sophisticated photograph. The composition of the pointing hands in the foreground along with the commotion that is taking place in the far back ground and the human expression. Very well captured...Love it.

i love the composition of this! i love how you look first at the foremost man, and then the succession of pointing hands lead you through the picture into the building. they don't lead you straight out of the picture though, you are left to wonder what was in the building and "what happened next". i almost feel like laughing along with them, even though i have no idea what was so funny! i guess that's a sign that you successfully portrayed the emotion!

This is expressive because of its overwhelming emphasis on human values. It is all about camaraderie and pleasure. It is not the most abstract image you have done, but the behavior is very incongruous -- you pull the viewer into the image because three of the four people are looking at us, instead of at the guy they are pointing at.
