Motorboatbird
This is one of my favorite images. I tried to make it a little dreamlike. Some of my favorite childhood memories are here. If you use your imagination and you might see some of them.

CatsDreams.jpg
I think it was the turkey dinner that inspired me. We have a composite of a yawning cat and a goose who is taking a bath. The thrashing of the goose in the water ignites a the instinct of the carnivore who sees it as struggling. The aromas from the turkey dinner had the cats excited and on edge. So here is an image that expresses what I was feeling from the original images and the external stimuli. As you can see the goose is in the mind as well as the mouth. I hope you enjoy CatsDreams.

There were some very large carp swiming along the dam. These gentlemen told me they were fishing for fertilizer and they were having quite a good time. As I was leaving I took this shot. When I brought it into photoshop I changed the texture of the image just a bit to give it a more arty look. I like the lines and the colors and the good feeling this piece gives me. What a nice way to spend some time...

Misty Willow
As the fog cleared this willow tree on the beach that I helped plant stood out from the fall background. I love the surreal feeling this piece gives me. The tree is gone now as is my uncle with whom I planted it. Only this image and my memories remain.

Magical place
It could be a frame of mind. Or it could be something about the place at a given time. I felt magic here, a mystical feeling from children's fantasy books. Sit on the bench, walk on the dock, see if you can feel it too.

This one, of course, is about color. It's about moving away from reality. It's also about the awe that I felt when I first stumbled onto the power and potential of this little piece of software called Photoshop. I didn't know what I was doing, but I liked it.
