Another Mosquito Hawk must have tried to take on the cat. He lost. I sure hope it was a quick death. I must rescue and carry outside at least one of these a week. The cat just will not leave them alone. Poor guy.

The ducks are back and they are helping to wreak havoc on the pool. It is getting more and more like a pond every day and I keep saying all I need are some lilly pads and frogs. I wouldn't be surprised if a few move on up from out of the creek soon.

Three weeks worth of birthday for this little guy. This is the official party in the park. Birthday boy and his little friend share some quite time under a shade tree.

I planted these 16 years ago as just a bare root twig. It has grown so large and beautiful. It doesn't get the proper care but just keeps growing. It doesn't produce as it would if someone knew what they were doing but it sure is a lovely plant.

Oh I do love Spring! I wanted to wait and catch all of these little blooms opened at one time but what I didcovered was that they actually open one at a time and then never seem to reopen.

I was admiring a cute little thread holder that sits beside my Auntie's chair and the next thing I know I have a present of one that my Uncle Warner made for me. We acn always find a nice project for him. He is sooooo talented.

Every body on FB is talking about getting a cute pool boy. I have the BEST but I don't like to share. He is just toooooo cute for words!
