What a funn shoot with an adorable couple. Six and a half months pregnant and they are BOTH glowing and delightful. Next shoot 8 months and then new baby. Can't wait!

Our booth at the Temecula Museums Summer Faire was a huge success after a rocky start. Finding that we had a very bad location we asked to move and the Museum people and another vendor even helped us do it. Here is two of our bubble contestants vying for a one hour photo shoot.

This beautiful young woman is well on her way to becoming a doctor. We had a great shoot and a lot of fun times in the process. She is really a great sport!

Oh my!!! This is not what you want to see when you look through your lens. I could take fine photos if only I could do it comfortably upside down. Shake, shake, shake and keep it that way. Great photo repair man just downtown Temecula. Bev Ray Camera's but two to three weeks without a camera. On no! Forced to buy a back up. Too many shoots coming up. The new baby will be here in 3 days that really mean 6. Go figure.

Fun outing with the PPS photography group. Outing to Solana Beach and Cedros Avenue. It is a great artsy district with quaint shops. Even distracted me from my camera and that is hard to do. I will have to go back to shop!

What a cute bunch of kids. They were adorable and lots of fun to work with. Hope to get back out and get the whole team together.

She has such an attitude!!! Just a day at home taking directions from the cat! I think she is OCD like the rest of the family. Or is that CDO as my son-in-law says? Sooooooo ocd that you can't even let the letters be out of order. That's us!

Stopping for some lunch at Chipotles and had a great time watching all the birds flutter around for their chance at bathtime in the little waterfall. This guy is just trying to dry himself off.

Mom say," You have to take a class so you are more active so you pick one." Madi, "I'll sign up for cake decorating!" Mom had in mind tennis, soccer, dance, etc. Oh well!!!!

Honing my restoration skills today. Wanted to make this scan a little clearer and less grainy. I think I did ok.

Liquidating some office furniture today. I was amused by the difference in the size of these two chairs. It is amazing what little it takes to amuse me!

This is the crazy guy that has been flying into my window for weeks trying to attack himself in the glass. I can't believe he hasn't knocked himself out yet. He keeps at it for hours until the light changes and he can't see his reflection any more.

A lovely detour through Wine Country in Temecula, CA. A shoot got postponed so I made my own shoot. Who could waste such a beautiful sky!

Took a trip into Whittier to get my taxes done. Cruising down Whittier Blvd. Does anybody do that any more? It was the place to be when I was in High School. Wow, that was a long time ago.

Happy Birthday my little buddy. It was great fun and I loved playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey. You were definitely the winner!!

Great outing to Encinitas to meet up with the Pacific Photography Society group. Missed the Botanical Gardens but met up with people at the lunch place, St Germains. After took a walk around the beautiful Gardens of the Self Realization Center. Nice Day!

My daughter and her hubby met doing ministry at this place called Pepper Tree. There are a huge group of people who come together for the good and education of these children. The people of Pepper Tree are warm and welcoming and extremely garcious people. Always nice to meet new friends.

Those were the days! Wrap a hunk of angora yarn in your school color around your guys class ring til it fit you. Back in the day I had a tiny little finger that took a gob of yarn. Photo to bring back fond memories of days gone by.

She is really such a doll. I got to hold her the other day and she is very sweet. It is the most delightful feeling when she softly walks across your hand. When her master lays on the bed reading and lets her out to stretch her legs, she will walk over and just sit by him, rest her foot on his arm like a dog might do with his paw. What a girl!

It has been a long hard fight to keep this company from stripping our beautiful hills and turning it into another ugly pit along the I15 freeway. Finally after 7 LONG years We won!!!! WHOOT WHOOT!

A wonderful day down at the pier, spending time with my brother. It was a great day to catch some waves and a great day to capture some photos. There were plenty of "Hot-dogger's" out.

Went to my construction shoot and borrowed my daughter's fisheye lens. I am sure the Architect wants to see photos of nice straight beams... soooooo I shot regulars for him and fun twisted ones for my delight.

One of my multitude of critter friends at home here on this property. Today I walked down to pick the last few persimmons before they drop to the ground. As I walked back with my basket we saw this little guy sunning himself on this stump. I stopped to take his photo. He was such a cooperative little guy.

What a great little gift and addtion to my vignette at my side door. This little whimsical place always cheers me up to look at it. It is where things seem to land as I come in the door. All cleaned up for photos though.

My original wedding ring that now fits on my little finger instead of my ring finger. It is on the same perfume bottle that I received it on for my 18th Birthday sooooo many years ago. This photo is a tribute to my kids and their daddy. What a wonderful, beautiful part of my life.

I went right home from my birthday celebration, lit this wonderful lantern and took a photo. Now to take some time to light it sit on the patio and realllly enjoy it and drink a "Cup of Joe" as the girls said.

Just as I snapped the photo htis guy flew away. Ordinarily a throw away but there was something about this one that was appealing to me. Maybe just those cute little feet. I don't know. Rainy day fun!

Interesting when your "baby" brother is 50 something. First time in years that we have been able to spend so much time together. I am really enjoying his company and he has been so helpful around here. We are just taking a coffee break. He says, " Oh really, are you going to take a photo of this?"

Why would I need a spot on the bed??? I am up all hours of the night editing photos while dogs get cozy and watch television.

A fun, impulsive juant to the world famous San Diego Zoo. We are so spoiled and take it for granted, but it really is spectacular. Sooooo many improvements over the years and many still in progress. I am so glad my girls called me to go have some fun with them.

Here is my Hunka-Hunka in his most wild fashion get up! There were actually others out in shorts but none with the white socks sticking out of the ugg boots and the "Git er Done" hat on their head. Good thing he is cute!!!

Family gathering to make tamales for New Year's Eve. Together we made pork, turkey, chicken, cheese and chilis. The beef we will have to do another time. Lots of fun but I think we were all in bed by "12 Midnight" New York time. Lots of work but well worth it! Yummy

The Smug Mug Meet Up Group set up a workshop where we had models to shoot for maternity photos for our portfolios. It was a huge sucess with just a few glitches. There were so many mom to be's and lots of photographers. fivr different backgrounds set up with stobe and continuious lighting. One glitch was not enough triggers for all photographers and so some of us couldn't really use the light. We had to get creative and sometimes with not the greatest results. Over all a great shoot.

Ali is such a doll and she looks great in anything. Even a coon skin cap. Rumor has it that she wore this the whole time she was on an Alaskan Cruise. Her friends didn't understand it. I think it is GREAT!!

I never tire of listening to my guy practicing guitar. Very humble about his ability and mostly self taught, he really is very talented. He plays a wide variety of styles but my favorite is R&B.

Wouldn't you think a cat in the house would keep the mice away? Welllllll, it doesn't seem to. Of course I would not be any happier watching a cat catch the little critters either. There is just no good solution.

My little guy always wants to pick fruit when he comes to grandma's house. We made it into a fun event for grandma too by bringing my camera along to catch all the action- birds, bees, dogs, boy, all of it interesting to me.

This old girl is such a sweetheart. Even though she has bitten just about every man in my life including Father Anthony, I love her to pieces. She has such a gentle soul but she is worried all the time and she is always ready to protect me. Just look at that kissable face.

This is a building in Temecula that created quite a stir when it was first built. NO one liked it. Supposedly it is a replica of a famous French building, but even that didn't help people embrace it. Now, after years of seeing it, It some how has come to appeal to me as it may well have with many others here in town. Not so bad after all!

My brother-in-law protesting my snapping photos over and over with my point and shoot as our lunch is arriving. Great burgers and beer at Slater's 50/50 in Anaheim Hills, CA. 50/50 stands for a burger that is 50% Beef and 50% ground Bacon - HEAVENLY!!!!

I felt so bad, I have been trying to get this guy out with a catch and release trap for a couple of months now and so when I went into the pantry and finally found this guy in the trap I was a little freaked out and bummed. I couldn't bring myself to deal with it tonight so I took it out side and set it down on the ground. After a short time, I realized I was missing a photo op and so I went back out and just took a few snap shots. The next morning not only was the mouse gone but the trap as well. I guess I must have provided some lucky fellow with a nice gourmet meal! Yay me!!

My adorable little hairdresser is all grown up and sophisticated. She organized a fantastic party to celebrate the salons anniversary and did a great job. Everything was elegant and lovely just as she is. I was fortunate enough to be invited to photograph the event. Hope to work with them on many more projects.

This lovely young woman is a student in my photography class. She is one of the few that don't seem to mind being on that end of the camera. Could be because she is so young and beautiful!

I thought I would see what I could do with HDR and a moving target. With a little work iI think it came out okay.

What a great guy I have. Willing to come to the studio with me to be a model. Probably not his favorite thing to do, but we had lots of fun, or at least I did. Nothing better than taking photos of someone or something that inspires you. He is definitely one of the good guys!

I get to borrow the 5D Mark II for a week. I think I am in Love!!! Too bad all I have for this spot is this crumby photo. I did get some nice ones though.

What a fine pickle she has gotten herself into. It went on and on but she finally got back to base and was safe. Good play and added a nice excitement to the game.

Had a great photo shoot with four adorable kids. They were super well behaved and very cooperative. They seemed to really enjoy the shoot and I did as well. Delightful day.

Just out having fun and noticed this little guy in the Red Apple. Not so easy to get my tripod set and take this with my new 500mm lens. I think his common name is Blue Darner. Wish I was up on the scientific names. Help anyone???

This little guy was scared out of his hiding place as I accidentally move a dog house while trying to spray an army of ants that were on the attack mode in the eaves of the front porch. He scared me and I scared him. Since I am much larger I started to feel sorry for him. At first I thought he was a baby Western Rattle Snake but after looking closely I realized that he was harmless. Turned him loose the next day after he refused to eat the yummy guppy fish snacks I was trying to give him. Take Care little guy!

Wrapping up the almost week long show, the house was packed and the audience was attentive and enthusiastic. The show was fabulous and all the hard work of the group was finally coming to an end. At least for now. Can't wait for the next show. Adore Photography is now the official Photographer for Broadway Starz. Way to go Carla Mooshie!!!

Broadway Starz is a theater group locally who are masters at training young actors and actresses. These young people and a few adults do a remarkable job. Highly recommended for a fun family outing.

Rainy drive through Cold Springs, Long Island and We just had to stop so I could get out and take this photo of this charming store. The man in the store with the umbrella turned to look to see what nut was out in the rain taking pictures of his shop.

Okay, well, not breakfast. Mid morning snack, with homemade soppersate and fresh bread and strong chees, tomatoes from the garden with oil and fresh mozarella. What more could you ask for besides wonderful company. Love you Nick and Angelina.

This guy was in Monroe, North Carolina. When we were leaving Joe and Carol's house we were introduced to him. He was such a handsome guy or was it a beautiful girl???

Our whirlwind trip to NY and North Carolina to visit family. This is a old photo I took a photo of and then the current photo of Rose. She was a girl in New Jersey, probably about 8 years old. She had just been in this country for about 3years. She is now 96 years old. We had a great visit.

I think this may be the little guy that we had to recue twice in one week from ChiChi the dog. The Dog is relentless when hunting something and this little guy was squealing like crazy til we came out and got the dog in the house. Clay pots had been pulled out of a big aluminum tub that the squirrel was hiding in. They were smashed all over the patio. The little guy was just crawling further and further down and hollering for help. He seems to be growing up nicely now ready to wreak more havoc in my yard.

Poor little wasp. He was the casuality of a hot incandescent bulb and the attacking dust bunnies. As I frantically tried to get ready for our family reunion, one of my tasks was to replace all lightbulbs with more energy efficent bulbs and to clean out all fixtures. This poor guy dropped from the ceiling when I took the cover off over the tub. Remember I said I would show you the good, bad and ugly of my life!

Took this photo of my little guy some years ago at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Recently been taking some photos of old photos. Easier than scanning on my crumby scanner. ( at least for me) Jon's 24 now. I told you they were moldy oldies,

Hopefully this little critter will not have too verocious an appetite and he won't invite all his friends. He was sitting quietly probably getting ready for night when I discovered him on my grape vine. Didn't have the heart to squish him. We will see.

At the Pacific Photography Society annual summer picnic. my little nephew was held up in the air to grab onto this branch. He loved it and if someone would have held him up there all day he would have been happy.

My flowers are blooming like crazy now and so I have a lot of bees. The kids are afraid, my daughter allergic and so it seems only Art and I find them our friends.

Are they calm around us because we are calm around them??? Could that work for people???

My high school sweetheart with his favorite ride back then. He had many more over the years but this was his first car that he bought with his own money. It belonged to him. Many good memories.

Quite a few years ago when my daughter got married I was quite distressed to find that no one was putting the "little People", bride and groom figurines, on the top of wedding cakes any more. I was very happy to see the bride and groom back on top of the cake, even if they were strawberry people.

This is from the San Diego Botanical Gardens. Instead of doing much Macro that day I decided to work on some HDR. This is one of my favorites from that meet up with the Pacific Photographic Society. Great group by the way. They are in San Diego, CA. Very nice group of photog's.

This was not a good thing but then I did say I was just chronicling my life so here goes. Under all my clean dish towels I discovered a major ant farm. So many ants and babies it was truly amazing. I have never seen such a thing. Last year I thought I had seen everything when they were flowing out of the interior of my coffeemaker. But now this goes even beyond that. Patience... I have none!

Just fooling around with an old photo of my hunny's dad. Didn't spend much time but it came out pretty good for a quick job. Really wouldn't mind getting more into this. My daughter Carla is a master at reconstruction. Much better than I am but I am learning.

I had an assignment to take a photo for the last Pixel river contest and the theme was Party. I decided to go to Chipoltle and try and create my own party. The birds were cooperative but no great photos so here is just one that doesn't exactly say Parrrrrrty!

Carla won first place in the Waters Wonder Photo Competition put on by Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District. I am so proud of her. A local shop in town printed it on metal and it is stunning. What a beautiful presentation. Wahoo!!!

Wonderful wedding at a great location, beautiful couple and we were honored to get the chance to preserve their memories for them.

Fun shower with all the funky and disgusting baby shower games. Lots of fun by all and the little tyke will have quite a wardrobe to start out. Great food, friends, and fun.

All little girls seem to love these shoes. Even Me, Grandma, who they belong to. I bought them to go dancing but they have long since become a photo prop. Our newest little Diva tries to keep them on her feet.

Our little old lady it such a sweetheart, although many a man might disagree with me. My honey was a sure pick when he was the only man that could come around me without getting bit on the butt. She even bit our dear friend, our parish priest and even our gardner who has been coming here for about 22 years, and the police officer that came when a burglar tried to break in. The only other man she hasn't bitten is the burglar!

This morning all of the plants were filled with tiny dew drops and everything was simply glimmering. It was almost magical. I had to run in and get the camera and I got some of my best shots this year. No planning, just a gift.

I volunteered my time to take some photos of Mount San Jacinto College, Menifee Campus, Multicultural Festival. It was great fun and I know it will just get bigger and better. There are so many people who worked so hard to put it on. This is just one of many dancers that came to show us some ethnic dances from around the world.

These two really know how to relax. Chi Chi the Chihuahua thinks he is really deprived if he doesn't get to come in and watch tv for at least a little while. Now lately the big girl Eva dog has to get in on the action.

We are still having very cool drizzly weather for this time of year. Enjoy it while it lasts, summer will be here before we know it.

Even though I can't seem to afford to water these trees they just keep producing and prodducing. I am sure there is someone some where who would love to eat these Moro Blood oranges but I can't seem to find a market for them here in Temecula. Not even the food pantries seem to want them. Oh well! My family and I just can't pick and eat nearly 100 thousand pounds of oranges.

This little wren is out telling the world that he is here. I don't know if he has found the love of his life, is still looking for the love of his life, or is pronouncing the arrival of little bundles of joy, but what ever the message, he sure seems happy.

Spring is definitely here. The sights and sounds of Spring are everywhere. Birds chirping and babies hatching, fruit appearing and flowers blooming. I have roses, snapdragons, irises, oranges, apricots, apples, grapefruit, figs, lemons (that never stop) pomegranates. What an abundance. Have to find a way of sharing. That is the challenge. Sharing what we have.

Not a super photo but I was so excited to see this bright colorful birds back at the feeders. They are never here very long, maybe just passing through on their way somewhere else so I am always delighted when I see them.

This is a little plant that I grew because I left my Yam in the cupboard to long. I cut the tip off and put it into water for a while and then transferred it into a small pot. What a surprise today when I found this beautiful little flower. I had never seen a Yam flower. Great quick project for a kid to get to see something grow and flower.

I had to stop and take a photo of this crazy little building. I was on my way home from having my taxes done and just couldn't resist. A little garish and yet some how charming at the same time. It was a cloudy rainy day with this little ray of sunshine.

This little guy has been my constant companion since I was three months old. I received him for Easter. When I was a young child, my brother Randy and I were fighting over him and his ear got ripped off. It has been off for soooo many years that he doesn't even look right with it on.

Going in to pick up my niece from Loma Linda Hospital when I saw this Helicopter landing. Very beautiful hospital grounds. Extremely large facilities with many parts to accommodate teaching also.

This crazy thing doesn't seem to know that it is almost Easter and christmas is long past. I had it in a less sunny area and it was growing like crazy but with no blooms. I decided to give it a little more sunshine and moved it to a west window in the breakfast area. Waaaala!! Full of flowers.

I recently visited and was inspired by someones site who took photos of and then buried the dead. I was impressed with her compassion and obvious love of the animals. A day or so later, I saw this little victim of his own major flash flood of the drain pipe. So sorry little friend. RIP.

This adorable little old video camera was a christmas gift from my son. He found it here in town at an antique shop. I haven't tried it with film yet but it seems to work. it will be fun to give it a try.

Spent a wonderful day with Dad and Mom. We went out to lunch at Polly's Pies and had a great lunch and visit.

This is where we stop when down in town to make those last minute cell calls to reach out to all our out of town relatives. I decided to hop out and take a photo looking down into town.

Photo shoot today with one of my favorite models. 11 years old going on 25. Her mommy kept saying I want your sweet look not your sexy look. The babies all try to grow up way too fast. The Mommy was just my baby yesterday it seems.

What a show this young Red Tail Hawk put on for us today. He posed and flew low over us. Returning over and over to the small pond where two mallard ducks swam. We were never sure if he was interested in the ducks or some unseen fish or frogs. Nice show!

We went to Lake Elsinore Water District for a photo shoot. Very nice, helpful, people and an incredibly informative tour.

We decided to turn over a new leaf and get back to doing some exercise, so we drove down to town, stopped by the river and got out to take a walk on the new path that the city put in not too long ago. The weather was very cold for sunny California so we stuck it out for about a mile and climbed back in the car and headed home.

One of Dear Honey's toys. He does make some beautiful sounds to edit photos by. I do enjoy both his hobbies and my own.

Surprised by my honey and his little sidekick, I received this chocolate apple with a gummy worm inside. Too fun. I shared my surprise with the boys. Kisses!

Great time in this beautiful setting, Toro Park in Montecito, California. It was a lovely warm, sunny day in February. Rain had been forecast but the lucky couple made out. Congratulations!

A special gift from my little niece at Christmas and a beautiful product for the studio. We needed to take this shot while we still have some in the bottle. I did the clean up after the shoot.

My Daughter and I rolled it out to take some photos of it. Getting a little late in the day but we made the best of the available light. She took several shot for some HDR and got some great results.

This little guy hung out in the dog house under the blankets and then would sunbath later in the day. We would go and take to it and pet it's little head and it never tried to get away. Today art put down his hand and he just crawled on. Nice surprises every day.

This is a great group of photographers and this was taken at one of our regular trips to the San Diego (formerly Quail) Botanical Gardens. It is always a nice outing. Always some different angle to shoot.

Wanted to get the ghosting of my cat roaming the hallway in the middle of the night but as everyone knows who is owned by a cat, there is no directing when it comes to cats. One shot was all I got. She didn't care what I had or what I said. This is it!

Today the mystery of the pepper shaker with the too small holes has been solved. It has been pondered by many and different solutions suggested. As I am finally ready to take out my little dremmel tool and solve the problem once and for all. Suddenly, Art takes a closer look and what??? I just need to switch the salt and pepper lids???? Amazing. What a genius.

How far can an 10 ounce cup of coffee be displaced is dropped for a table 24 inches high. Wellllllll, The area visible in the photo and there was not a place that was not hit including the top of the chair and the whole area of the ceiling. Carpet, chair, picture mat, (Behind glass!!!), wall, ceiling, books, other furniture, lamp and shade, Even madonna and child, all got splattered with coffee with creamer. Amazing. This is one experiment I don't want to repeat.

My Grandma always had a few of these plants potted and she gave one to me. All those memories from childhood have such a impact and so many are the smallest things, like giving a little girl her own small potted plant to care for. Thank you Grandma for the gift of a love for plants.

These two little guys birthdays are within a couple of months of each other. They are cousins and they couldn't be any more different. Both are very much little boys but with much different styles. One is very loud and very verbal. The other is quiet and cuddly. They each have a style of mischief that is reflective of those personalities. Lots of fun!! Hugs and kisses you little monkeys.

What a delightful place! Pacific Photography Society Meetup of San Diego, California planned this great afternoon. So much to see and photography. Lots of local color and wonderful weather. We stayed to shoot the sunset and then off to a fantastic little bar and grill for dinner and drinks. Great assortment of tacos for Taco Tuesday. Wonderful prices too.

We all had a great day at the park and then a nice lunch together back at the house. We played catch and climbed all over the equipment, chased and even played with Mike's new friend, a little chameleon he got for Christmas. Lots of fun.

Just kicking around taking photos of plants in my backyard and then a trip to the Chiropractor. As my Photo teacher says, "Wear you camera as a piece of clothing to get great shots." In other words, Don't leave home with out it. Soooooo on my way home I stopped at a small natural pond at the side of the road. The Mallard ducks were very uncooperative but this tumble weed posed ever so nicely.

This little guy comes every morning and afternoon to the back patio and gorges himself. He is kept very busy trying to keep all the other birds away. I have a huge array of feeders and areas that I put food on the ground and posts and he frantically tries to patrol them all. He is usually the first one here to Birdie Cafe and the last one to leave. You can see what it has done to his "girlish figure". Oh well.

This morning while making breakfast I looked out to see this little gold finch out enjoying his bath in the fountain. It is still very cold but at least the water is not frozen. Make sure and scrub those little arm pits, or should I say, wing pits.

My little brother brought this to me a few days before Christmas. What a delightful surprise. It came in a metal box with film holders, black cloth, extra lens, and camera. There is a special compartment for a tripod but it was missing. What a great gift to add to my collection. Thanks Bro!!

This critter surprised me by showing up on my shoulder while I was carrying laundry to the washer. He is lucky to have survived. Startled, I brushed him off onto the top of the washer. Today I found him back wondering around the house. I took him out and introduced him to the snails on the front porch. He is welcome as long as he stays outside.
