My Army Days

I spent 18 months training at Fort Bragg, N.C. 1962-1964 as a military policeman. The army needed men that were 6ft. tall,
attended some college and a clean police record for security purposes. I was drafted because of things happening in Europe.
The 503rd MP Battlion became my home. Since we were a riot control unit, I spent a few weeks at the University of Mississippi
at Oxford defending James Meridith's enrollment as a black man at an all white school. (More Photos to Come)
