2008 Redneck Games in East Dublin, Ga.

The 13th Annual Redneck Games was held in Buckeye Park along the Oconee River in East Dublin, Ga. This year featured a Redneck Wedding being broadcast this Fall on CMT TV. After the bride and groom said their vows, the couple jumped in a mud pit fully attired. Other contests included the toilet seat toss, Bobbing for pig feet and of course the famous belly flops in a giant mud pit. My niece Babs Rheney went along for fun and took some photos herself. The heat was insufferable and folks jumped into the Oconee River to cool off.

Awesome gallery. Many great shots! I saw a special on the Georgia redneck games a few days ago on the Current TV cable channel. This gallery just confirmed that it is one heckuva fun event! V

hey there! this is eric outler, the winner of the 2008 bobbin' for pig's feet winner! it was alot of fun! this was my 6th year at the games and this win was my 2nd in 7 years. i won the hub cap toss in 2001. and to get the facts stright, the mascot name is Freight Train not L' bow! L'bow isnt doing it anymore! the pics looks awesome!
