Milo nearly died after having a severe allergic reaction to a Rabies vaccine. It is known by all breeders of Ragdoll cats that they have bad reactions to rabies and FLV vaccines. Our vet (without asking) gave him a rabies shot and the next morning at 5am he was at the University of Minnesota's emergency vet hospital, here in Saint Paul. He had a fever of 104.9* and his eyes were dilated fully open. He was put on IV's for fluid and given a shot to help him make it through the day and that night. He pulled through and even now (3 weeks later) his eyes aren't dilating properly. His pupils stay wide open in lit rooms. I was told he will get better soon though. I love my sweet Milo so much.
