Finally I have a new camera. I decided to make the Olympus E-520 my 2nd camera, my first being the E-300. Olympus had been busy over these last 3 years and I sure could tell a big difference in the cameras. Of course I just got the new camera and it takes awhile to get to know each other. Ha! I can say one thing for certain, I am in love with the colors, the auto WB actually works! I've spent many hours correcting color with the E-300, I think the colors are very true straight from the E-520. What a relief!
However, I am going to have to work on some other things with the E-520, I got a lot of blown out highlights even after I turned the EV down by 1/3rd. Give me a month or two and I'm sure that problem will be solved.
This gallery will be my "Breaking the camera in" gallery.
Have you found a solution yet for the blown highlights ? I own an E-520 and I have the same problem. I now use a polarizer filter from pictures whith lot of sky and other subjects in them. I would prefer a workarount with the camera settings but no luck so far. Great photos !

Hi,
Brilliant Pics. Have you used photoshop to enhance them?
Yes, I too experience the easily blown highlights with the E-510. However, the small size and light weight coupled with a sufficiently sharp diminuitive 14-45mm lens has made this my walk around favorite currently. I find I can also place it and the relatively small kit 40-150mm lens both in a small bag and hardly notice I have something with me that covers 28-300mm effective focal length with quality images.
