Arusha was the first stop on this safari adventure trip. We spent two nights there to get our bearings after about 25+ hours of traveling, recovering delayed luggage, and seeing the Shanga River House project in Arusha. Shanga River House is a cooperative where physically challenged Tanzanians are trained to create traditional jewelry and crafts from local fabrics and recycled materials. We stayed at the Olasiti Lodge in Arusha.
