Apartheid in South Africa

To learn about the history of Apartheid in South Africa, we first visited Constitution Hill, the site of the Old Fort Prison, and then to the Apartheid Museum, where you can experience a chronological look at the history of Apartheid in the country.

I thought the Apartheid Museum, and accompanying Nelson Mandela Exhibition, while very comprehensive, was in places, difficult to find the correct chronological path to follow. Several years ago while in Johannesburg, I went to the Hector Pieterson Museum in Soweto, and although a little smaller, it seemed to have a more coordinated flow through the exhibits. A very worthwhile visit.
