Borobudur Temple is described by UNESCO as one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. The top levels of the temple are dotted with 72 small stupas, each with a statue of Buddha inside. Five of our group decided to do a private tour of the temple that got us there in time for sunrise. The sunrise cloud colors, along with the mist in the forest valley below, made for some beautiful pictures. Depending on how Mother Nature feels that morning, each morning could have its own unique characteristics.
