Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna River and is primarily known as the home of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was built as a monument to Queen Mumtaz Mahal from 1631 to 1653, and took 20,000 workers to build. Other attractions in the city include the "Baby Taj", a Mughal architectural milestone that is thought to be the inspiration for the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort, the seat of power for four generations of Mughal emperors.
