Antarctica and Patagonia tour aboard the M/S Nordkapp, January 2007

Addendum Feb 3, 2007: On its very next trip after ours, the M/S Nordkapp ran aground on the rocks at the entrance into Whalers Bay at Deception Island, part of the South Shetland Islands. Passengers were evacuated from the Nordkapp to her sister ship, the M/S Nordnorge, to return to Ushuaia, Argentina. Apparently there was a small oil spill from a gash in the Nordkapp's hull.
